Media is a powerful way to influence the people of the world, and that is exactly what happened to the Pitbull's reputation. Pitbull's have been labeled as an aggressive dog because of the way humans made them fight. Media then influenced the whole world by creating a bad reputation for them. Magazines would share articles and pictures of aggressive pitbulls and whenever you search the word pitbull on the internet the first thing that pops up is about a mean dog. These dogs in the history of their lives were labeled as very loyal and affectionate dogs but when you neglect and pressure them to fight, of course they are going to become aggressive. What dog wouldn't? That is why media needs to help these dogs out by telling the truth instead of furthering their stereotypical "bad reputation".
